One film day, a month of content
February 11, 2026
Most businesses do not stop posting because their content was bad. They stop because they ran out. Someone films a few things on a phone in a busy week, publishes them, and then the schedule fills up again.
A film day fixes the supply problem. Half a day on site, planned against a shot list, produces enough footage to carry a calendar for weeks. The planning is the part that matters. Without a shot list you get pretty footage that does not answer any question a customer has.
The best material is almost always the work itself. You doing the job, your crew on site, the before and after. Customers are trying to decide whether you are competent and whether they would want you at their property. Footage of the work answers both faster than a talking head.
The same shoot should feed more than one channel. Vertical cutdowns for social, a longer piece for the homepage, stills for the profile, and creative for paid campaigns. If a film day only produces social posts, you paid for a quarter of what you could have had.
